I am maimunat (she/her).
My free time is utilized with reading about pre-historical books and movies or documentaries on colonialism. ECE and CYC background.
I have enjoyed reading BECOMING by MICHELLE OBAMA. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my children, going on walks with my friends and enjoying nature around me.
I enjoy volunteering and presently working with Young Parents at non-for-profit organization called Youth Unlimited GTA as a Young Parent program leader.
I am presently an uninvited guest at the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. I also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
